The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said it had refused to receive a “container” with 88 unidentified bodies of Palestinians.

The Ministry said there was no data or information identifying the individuals, locations of recovery, or time of death.

It added that it would only proceed once complete information and data regarding the bodies were provided, arguing that it considered the minimum rights of the deceased and their families.

The Ministry called on human rights organizations and international bodies to establish clear procedures that allows them to receive the remains with the proper identification details, including names, ages, and the area from which the body was taken.
